Helen Joyce Gabriel Flanagan is an English actress and model best known for playing the character of Rosie Webster in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. Flanagan has played Rosie Webster in Coronation Street since 2000, when she was ten years old. She was nominated for the award of "Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress" in the 2006 British Soap Awards, losing to Ellis Hollins. In 2007, she was nominated for "Villain of the Year" at the same awards, losing to Jack P. Shepherd, who plays Coronation Street character David Platt. In October 2011, Flanagan announced that she would leave Coronation Street in February 2012 to pursue other interests. In November 2012, Flanagan participated in the twelfth series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, finishing in 7th place out of the 12 celebrities featured. There are plans for a forthcoming travel series to be presented by and star Flanagan. It will be produced by ITV Studios and is due to be broadcast in late 2013.
